Beachcomber
The Beachcomber is a solidly built Australian aluminium pontoon style vessel on three hulls. The three hull design makes the boat sturdy enough to be able to run it right up to beaches and river banks. With the aid of a boarding ramp it can land passengers almost anywhere. The pontoon style with wide opening front gates, side and stern gates makes it very easy to get passengers and gear on and off the boat, with a lot of room on board.
Rear access ladder
The rear access ladder and stern gate also make it easy to board from the water, making it ideal as a moored swimming and snorkeling platform, and also very convenient as a floating base station for kayaking and other water based activities.
Shallow Draft
The shallow draft means the boat is not confined just to the beaconed channels and can safely venture into most rivers, creeks and wetland areas including shallow bays and estuaries. The Beachcomber is in current Queensland survey to carry a maximum of 12 people including the skipper.
